This code of conduct applies to all members of the SwissPUG as well as to externals interacting with it, including participants to any association's public events.

The SwissPUG is dedicated to providing a harassment-free collaboration experience for everyone.

We do not tolerate harassment of SwissPUG members and event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event around SwissPUG. Members and event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the association or event without a refund at the discretion of the SwissPUG Board or event organizing committee.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, displaying sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If a SwissPUG member or event participant engages in harassing behavior, the SwissPUG Board or the organizing committee of the event may take any action they deem appropriate, including ejection from the event or association with no refund. If you feel that you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a staff member of the event immediately.

If the complaint is about an organizer or staff member of the event, you may contact a member of the SwissPUG Board directly. You may also contact the PostgreSQL Community Code of Conduct Committee if you prefer an outside organization, in which case the event organizing committee and the SwissPUG Board will commit to assisting the CoC committee to the best of their abilities.

Event staff members will be happy to help participants contact venue security or the police, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event.

Thank you for your help in making SwissPUG events fun and enjoyable for everyone!
